Become a Volunteer at the Chelsea Library!

The Chelsea Library is looking for new volunteers to join its team. 


Available positions 

Front Desk:

  • Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.  


Class Visits

A few mornings per month - Flexible schedule 

Volunteers will assist during French-language class visits, including checking out and returning materials and helping with book searches. 


Requirements and Assets 

  • Provide bilingual service in French and English 
  • Be comfortable using a computer
